Knock sounds like it's coming from top end, but could be wrong. The knock is consistent with the engine speed. Just changed oil and had metal shavings in strainer on top of the drain plug. Didn't change filter. Haven't done any engine work on it. Was running fine. Still runs good- just noticed the knock yesterday and the shavings today. Decided to take it of the road until I get it figured out.
Any insight is greatly appreciated guys. |

Maybe the piston pin or a valve. You need to pull the head and cylinder and inspect everything. Better get a manual for the proper clearances.
