Default No spark on one Cylinder 87' Virago 535

Hello,
I just picked up a 1987 Virago 535. I had to replace the battery and fix a few wires (rear lights and head lamp). All in all it was going really good until I tried to start her up. I can get it to run on choke but if I let the choke off or try to give a little on the throttle she'll die.
After digging a bit I found that the rear plug is not sparking. I checked the ignition coil and the plug wires and they're good. I have only been able to gain a tiny bit of spark but nothing that would get her to run. What is in line before the ignition coil? I don't have a wire diagram and tearing the harness apart is something I would like to save for a last resort.

How do you know the coil is good? What method did you use to check it?

I disconnected the incoming wires to the ignition coils and switched them (Took the plugs and wires out) and looked at them. The "good" cylinder wouldn't spark and the bad one would. The differance was night and day.
