Default 1980 CB750 F and synthetic oil

Hi there, i was wondering, if id be able to run synthetic in an 1980 CB750F or would it mess with the clutch?

Avoid oils that contain "Energy Conserving" additives. On a bike that old, you may see seal-leakage due to the high detergent action of the synthetics as it washes the crud away left behind by the conventional oil.

The engine seals in older vehicles are not designed for synthetic oils. Stick with petroleum oils.

use 15w40 Shell Rotella T, best conventional oil you can find. As high a flash point as most synthetic and cheap too!

Ditto on the 15/40 Dello diesel truck oil, it's high in zinc for cushioning those gears, and it's good for the bikes prostate too.
