Depends on how the PO lowered it: If they just put in longer linkage ("dogbones") putting the stock links back in will raise the rear. If they got a shortened-body or otherwise-modified rear shock; you'll need a "stock" or aftermarket stock-replacement.
If they just slid the fork-stanchions up in the clamps on the front, that's also easily rectified by sliding them back down. If they cut the spacers or springs in the forks, you will have to obtain new springs and spacers. There are other, more-complex ways of lowering a bike - but these are the most common.

More than likely it has the adjustable dog bones. Check under the shock looking at the linkage. If they have slotted holes or more than one hole, you'll just need to raise it back up or just purchase some stock links. Good luck!
