i have a 1250 bandit i want more power does anyone have any mod ideas

You want more power than a Bandit 1200?! Where do you live? Texas? I've heard that the stock power of that bike will easily overwhelm the chassis in the twisties.

i live in indiana i was beatin by a gsx 1000 in quarter mile but i caught him 2 the line he was 1 second quicker

Buy an aerodynamic helmet, crop the windshield, and lose 20 lbs.

MUCH cheaper than anything you could do to the Bandito, and all will help in the 1/4.

A pair of custom ground camshafts would be the best solution aside from buying a ZX-14 or a Speed Triple. The Bandit's cams are ground for a broad spread of power while the GSX's are ground for high end power. Or maybe you can find a turbocharger. You can also significantly reduce your 1/4 mile times by practicing launches.

Please make me the beneficiary on your life insurance policy. I have a feeling it will be paying out soon.
