Does anyone know how to take apart the piston side caliper? Or I guess an easy way to get the pin out.
My piston has been sticking randomly, should grease in the piston solve this, or do I need to rebuild? Thank you |

NO GREASE on the piston. Clean and polish it, replace the seal and wiper. IF IT CALLS FOR IT, you might could lube a full-floating caliper. Otherwise, just a dab of nevr-seize on the threads of the pin (to prevent sticking the NEXT time you have to do this.......)

Most likely it's not the piston that's sticking, it's the bleed-off hole in the master cylinder that's plugged up with stuff, and check the rod that connects with the brake lever (inside the casting, under the brake fluid resevoir) it's got holes in it that if plugged up won't let the pressure release off the wheel cylinder.
I found that out the hard way after rebuilding both calipers on an old KZ750, turned out both the master cylinders had the bleed off holes plugged with corrosion.
