Sprockets

I just piped and jetted my VZ800 and now my bike just flies through the gears.......... like I'm in 4th gear before I get passed the crosswalk on the other side of an intersection. I used a Dynajet stage 2 kit and have Vance and Hines pipes and K&N filters. I have a 15 tooth spocket in the front and a 48 in the back.

How many teeth can I go up in the front sprocket to harness all the extra power?

Sounds like it's fairly-well reined-in already.

You should ask MOKE1 - he's an Expert on Street Racing and Pipe-full-O'-Jet Kit #7's.

Sprockets! Now we dance!

Drop that 48 tooth rear sprocket down to a 45, that should do it. I don't think there's any more room in the sidecase for a bigger countershaft schprokett (maybe?)....

Funny thing was that when I was stationed in Germany in the 80's and me and the ex hit the clubs there were Dieters everywhere. When we saw Mike Myers as Dieter we both lost it.

I'v never installed sprockets Iam afraid it could make my exhaust alot louder at lower speeds and I dont want to piss anyone off, they might change a law or something? Infact I shouldnt even ride cause that attitude might just be the cause of all the problems us bikers have. Iam just going to leave it in my garage and be a poser like newagetone. Ill just play my sax in the garage, Ah OH wait thats to loud too? Dang!

I went up a tooth or two on the front sprocket of my '94 Magna. I got better results with the stock gearing and a slightly different rear tire size.
