Default Stuck key/locked ignition

Any clues on unlocking the ignition? Some guy who was looking to buy my bike tried to 1) stand it in upright position 2) bring tire to straight position, and 3) turn ignition key - all three at the same time. The result was the ignition is now stuck, and I can only turn the key from the "lock" to about 3/4 way to "off" position (which means the wheel stays locked). At first I could not even get the key out, but was able after some fiddling. Before you answer, I tried wiggling the key in every way possible and spraying a lot of WD-40 into the ignition. Please help, I don't want to pay for a house call to get a mechanic to come to me.

Try pushing down on the key and trying to turn it while moving the front end into different positions and maybe it will pop. Other than that, find the guy that was trying to buy your bike and slap him real hard.

It'd help a lot if you gave us a hint what bike you are talking about...

Lesson 1: Don't let chimpanzees sit on your motorcycle.

I'm assuming that the fork lock is stuck. Get a long thin drift pin and a hammer. Have someone wiggle the key in the lock while you insert the drift pin in the flanges underneath the lock and tap on the fork locking shaft that is extending below the fork lock. Try tapping from different directions.

Indeed, you'll need to use a BFH to get those out.....maybe a chisel too....
