My bike ran far too cold the past two winters. I partly blocked the radiator with cardboard which helped but I want to fix the problem.
How do you change the thermostat on a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 500R? |

I think you had the right idea the first time. Maybe something a little snazzier than cardboard, but covering the rad is a lot less traumatic than pulling your cooling system apart. Besides, it's not like you're in Alaska; how many days does it get that cold in SC?
Trust you should the Nipponese engineers; wise they are in their selection of the thermostat.
