Default exhaust questions

i have a 99 bandit 600 and i want an after market slip on.. does the gixxer 600 fit the bandit too?

You have to check the diameter. Uhhh... you have to make sure the inside diameter is big enough for the thing you wish to insert or else it'll be a tight fit, and you might need some kind of lubrication (like pipe lube) or something. If it doesn't fit, sometimes you can get a stretcher and stretch out the receiving end to make it fit, but I'm not sure on that one. Why don't you just go with one that you know fits to begin with? It might be easier and less painful all the way around.

i have a huge salvage yard down the street and they dont have the exact model used so i was hoping a gixxer slip on would match up saving me about a hundred bucks.

Dale Walkers Holeshot Performance, Yoshimura and a number of other companies makes a pipe specifically for your bike, trying to jury rig a different model pipe on there will only make your bike run like crap and rob horsepower
