Question Need Tire Help 76 BMW R-100

Trying to find tires has been frustrating.. I want to have a decent road tire for this old cruiser. I need help with COMPLETE TIRE size recomendations.. Here is what is on the bike now
Front Metzler 325H19 Rear is a Metzler Perfect ME99A 120/90V18

I have had guys tell me to use this or that, but dont give the entire size, or they tell me to stick with stock... But that is not enough info to go get tires.l..

Spec sheet on webbikeworld sez:

3.25x19 front
4.00x18 rear.

These were standard tire sizes back then.

Metric converted numbers are:

100/90 or MM90 x19 front
110/90 or MP85 x18 rear.

Looks like your front is correct and the rear is one size over, which is fine as long as the tire doesn't scrape anything. There are several tires available and it's up to you to chose which one.

Seruzawa, you're looking a bit rough!

While i'm on the subject, if you have managed to dig out from under the snow, I highly recommend the new movie, 'Monsters vs. Aliens'. I think my wife and I enjoyed it more than my kids. They do a great job skewering the old 'B' horror flicks, like Creature, Blob, Mothra, etc.

Straight MEK with an acetone flush works pretty well on the fingernails.

If you like skewered 'B' sci-fi flicks then 'The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" is well recommended.
