Anyone got any suggestions on rotor removal, i currently have a spare axle sticking out of my rotor, but i cant get the dam thing to budge, im about to pull my hair out.

I've never worked on a CB650, so do not know exactly how the rotor is attached to the end of the crank. Some bikes use a LH bolt, and a keyed taper. Some, a RH bolt, and the rotor is LH-threaded on the crank. Likely, there are other ways as well.

Typical is some kind of left-hand thread usage to secure the rotor against the crankshaft direction-of-rotation.

Its on a tapered goomjagom, clymer says to use the rear spindle and tighten it to wedge it off and if that doesnt work to tap the flange of the spindle t pull it off. Thats not working either.


Im thinking about just ghost riding the damn thing into traffic.

I got it!

For those of you who find yourself in this situation in the future, find yourself a big ass hammer, i used my mason hammer, and pound the **** out of the bolt flange while cussing really loud. Mine popped off after about 10 hits.

(dont listen to this post, you will probobly f up your bike)
