I'm not for certain, but I'm pretty sure the 900s are wider. This '78 also has 600F2 or F3 front end and monoshock rear, and I think a 919 headlight. Those might be helping in making the picture a little "off."

It's been quite a while since I've talked to this dude so I can't remember the exact details. I do know it's a lot faster and more composed than you'd think. I can't imagine what the 1100 will be like in this chassis.

A 919 headlight has a rounded, beveled lens. (It's straight up and down at the bottom and then angled inward at the top.) That headlight looks flat, so I'd guess it's a much older light.

I'm definitely not knocking the bike. It looks cool. It just reminds me of when you look at someone and think, "something's just not quite right" but can't figure out what it is. Later, you realize they have a lazy eye or something.
