Yeah, it'll ruin the balance between intake pressure and exhaust pressure, and make your bike run WORSE.

Is this your first bike? If it is, than settle down a bit and get used to riding.

If this isn't your first bike, what made you buy it if you wanted something faster?

It's probably worse than that!

The speedo is most likely wrong, and you are actually topping out at 59mph!

Get some high performance reed valve pedals, or just get a whole YZ125 MX top end and forget about doing all the aforementioned work. If that doesn't work, take the gas cap off and screw it on to a GSXR1000.
Or if you dont have a full machine shop in your garage or the money for it, just do what the factories have done, get a washer with a suitable sized hole and install it in your muffler. Probably the easiest thing and cheapest solution. Good luck mate!

The smaller the hole, the slower it'll go. The bigger the opeaning is the faster it will go.

And, just like in the Urologist's office, mindless arbitrary poking around in the exhaust pipe does more harm than good.

I still think the best solution is to just give the bike to me.
