Default Installing HIDs

What is the procedure in installation HID lights on a Honda CBR for example. Where do you put the ballasts?

You won't like my suggestion, as it will be mighty-uncomfortable...........

You put the ballasts and igniters wherever they fit. I have HID bulbs in my Honda 599 headlight, and I can stuff two (rather small) ballasts under the seat. When I added two auxiliary lights, though, I had to make a bracket that enabled me to mount them on the headlight arms. I have some pics here.

Thanks. Believe me, I looked for some space out of the elements! There is a little space under the seat but I used that all up with the fuse box and the igniters for HID bulbs in the headlight. And there is NO space in the headlight shell itself - it looks big from the front but it is actually very short. The wires are well-packed into it.

Which is within inches of the location The AirHawk had in mind.

Yes, but rather more comfortable.

In typical Honda fashion.

Somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3 of the same typical Halogen of the same "size".
