That's what happens when you let the automobile guys run a motorcycle compnay. Models designed for mass appeal marketed to a buncha individualists.

I know, $20~25 grand for a Goldwing? $15k for the DT what-ever?......The sportbikes are cool but I'm out of that demographic and they seem spendy too. The rest looks like generic Japanese cruiser style, no Vmax, no Boost King, no FZ1...nothing that looks even remotely unique....oh well, back to my newspaper....

Honda is too busy making fuel sipping little dinky cars to care about STREET BIKES anymore. I hear they're going to start producing lawns and houses next.

Is it me, or does the DN-01 pictures look like the CinemaScope lens is in wrong?

Is it true 'Honda' means 'vanilla' in Japanese?

Nope, it means "stale, plastic looking, cruiser line-up".

...and I'm a fan of cruisers, just not a fan of Honda's. Doesn't mean they are bad bikes, but they really seem to lack a lot of detail.

I'm a big Honda fan. My car's an Element (good to haul the dogs and my mountain/road bikes) and one of my bikes is an 1100XX. Even my mower's a Honda. Previous to the Element, I owned a Legend and an Integra. But I have some big gripes about Honda's current bikes. No fuel injection on any cruiser below 1300cc's. No slipper clutch on the 600RR. A new 680cc CVT bike that costs $14.5K?! Very frustrating! Good thing there are other nice bikes to choose from!

There has never been a more mixed up concept than the DN-01. And at that price, no less.

Hmm, and the heavily-rumored all-new Interceptor is exactly like the old Interceptor. Amazing.

Honda is completely tone deaf.

I think that the DN looks like a fitting stablemate for the Victory Vision. One might get a Rune and a 1200C to complete the Komedy Kollection.

I really liked my Element, but it bored me to tears. My ex bought it and I got it in the divorce. I had a 2002 VFR that was a scream, but when I look at the new ones in the showroom I swear they look like they were made by a different company. The fit and finish, even the plastics just seem to have been downgraded.
