All it lacks is a power sunroof, power doorlocks, and a power 6-way, heated and cooled leather-clad driver's seat and a thick, leather-wrapped steering-wheel.

Saw it at the kawasaki show recently and wow the front does look Harley-ish, but very nice when you get up close, gauges are very retro.
We'll see how she sells.

I like it. Kawi did a good job of bringing a tour-bike to market that actually will sell. Good for them.

"Vulcan Glide Ultra Classic" would make a nice name for it.

I just bought a new 1700 Voyager last Saturday from my local Kawasaki dealer. I got the ABS model. Wow, what a bike. Looks great in the titanium/black color scheme, smooth ride, handles like a dream even at low speeds, plenty of power on the open road, sounds great, not too loud though, which keeps my wife happy, she says it is very comfortable for her to ride too. I only have 100 miles on it, but I am a happy biker again. My local dealer, R&R Powersports in Effingham, Illinois were fabulous to deal with. I could not be happier with this bike.I still haven't figured out all the gadgets on it yet. My daughter is off to college and can't wait for me to visit her and go for a ride. Do not believe the naysayers out there - this is a great motorcycle. I will post after I have 500-1,000 miles on it and let you know how it goes. Jim Rutledge Effingham, Illinois |
