If they redesigned the FZ1 does that mean it'll become even more RR-like instead of more like a naked standard? The older generation FZ-1 was about the only Yamaha I had much interest in. They don't need yet another RR style bike.

FZ1 is unchanged for '09. The FZ-series addition is the FZ6R, which, despite the "R," is a softer version of the FZ6 with a full fairing.

Now, if Yamaha would put bags on it making a "tiny" FJR we'd be in business for under $8k.

We don't deserve that. We just said it was ugly. We didn't say it was "beaten for 30 days solid with an ugly stick and has Rosie O'Donnell's mug painted on the fairing". Now THAT would be mean.
