All Iam saying is you'll have to ride a bike to be the judge, not everyting is always black and white.

Maybe, maybe not, if I had to chose right now yes I'd go with the Suz/Kaw but give the aftermarket world a chance to get some stuff out their and well see.
No matter what though its a cult bike, it'll sell! And really thats all Yamaha cares about.

If so, you look EXACTLY as I pictured you in my mind. Even down to the flipflops, backwards hat, and Oakley's.

Mind, no offense here: 'cept for the Soulpatch, hat, and flipflops (and me bein' a bit older), it's a pretty-good representation of what I look like as well............

If you are referring to the V-Max manufacturer's listed dry weight for 1985 you can add at least 75lbs.

No probem still feels waaaaaay lighter than the older version! This one might actually take a turn quite a bit better!

It'd be difficult for it to turn worse. I think my 80 Goldwing has better handling characteristics than the original Max.

Since I have owned both a 78 Wing and a 2000 V-Max, I would say you are correct. You can't believe how bad the old Max handled. You actually have to ride one to feel the terror of a 20mph turn with a few bumps thrown in.

The question today is "Why do metric cruisers cost so much?" That's the mystery.
