Seems like a nice enough bike. But the ugly scoops and ice cream cone silencers have to go.

However for 17,990 I could get a new Speed Triple and a new DR 650.

Zod seems to have is priorities straight. Both wont have the Loud handle of the max though and that is the whole point about this machine isnt it?

The big Star has more weight, power and wheelbase, so it wins the battle of the ridiculous. The King is kool, but the Max is the max.

It takes 40 minutes to hand polish those scoops, probably every week.

What an awfully offensive bike. They should have named it V-Excess. The only question remaining is how the hell can I get one.

Now, that is one *****in, kick sand in your face motorcycle. I can't believe you guys complaining. The scoops have to go? For years, they've been nothing more than plastic doilies on the side, and that was okay. Now, they actually do something and "they've gotta go". And hell yeah the motor is ugly. It's the bad guy. The V-Max is the arch nemesis to wannabees everywhere. It's supposed to look like a big abusive machine.

Geez, sometimes I wonder if you guys even ride motorcycles
