Frank Sinatra's alright, my dad listened to him all the time along with a buch of different jazz bands. Not my style really but the guy could carry a tune.

Oh my, this forces decisions. In the past, I owned a V-4 Honda, but it was never quite what I wanted. I now ride a R1100GS, though it is a bit too tall and heavy, and a Ducati which is great fun for the first 300 miles. I was about ready to swap the BMW for a V-Strom, but your review makes me think the "middleweight" BMW might be the right choice. Still not a VFR though; at least you didn't make me rethink my position on that one.
