I was just going to razz you yesterday as we havent seen a pic or a ride impression. Guess you got my mental note. So does that rig cause the negative air pressure Ive felt on wings and LT's? After a 700 mile weekend on an LT I was sore from having to lean back instead of lean forward against the wind. Though maybe the sustained 99mph (highest you can set the cruise on an LT) may have added to the problem.

Snarli, do you have the 'shorty' windshield or the stock one? Most Dressers around here have the shorty mounted for running around town. And they take the lower fairings off.

I don't really notice any push from the windshield which surprised me, I thought I would. I do have the stock taller windshield on it, not the shorty one and no lowers. My 'stitch pants work fine in the cold and it does make a difference in hot weather not having the lowers I would imagine. I have the Tallboy seat on order that moves the seat back 2 inches for more leg and arm room, that may make a difference but I hope not. So far the only problem with the air pocket is it cancels out my helmet ventilation which is kinda unpleasent....

So, how big is the oil-puddle beneath where you park it, how many parts have you had to go-back and fetch, how many car-alarms have you set-off with the "Screechin' Beagle" straight pipes, and how many little-old-ladies have given you The Finger for holdin' up traffic?

(nobody was askin' the questions that HAD to be asked!)

I don't waste my money on those Squealin' Beagle pipes. I have a chunk of rebar I just jam through there and get all that baffle sh*t out of the way, then a couple of rounds from the ol' Blunderbuss clears the rest of that crap out of there. Then it's just ditch the air cleaner housing and element and Voila` instand ten more horses or so and she sounds like a Harley now. not some d*mn Chineese sewing machine..
