You can't be denied treatment but you can be put into a lengthy waiting list for non-life threatening things. Like 1 1/2 years line for hip joint replacement. Not ideal but much better than never get one. Methinks.

Anyways I was responding to our friend who can't afford meds. You guys should do something about the system. If Jesus would come back he would come and kick your suffering asses.

Everyone knows that Jesus rides a Ducati and His Dad rides an Electra-Glide. Jesus doesn't need a KLR because whatever bike he rides automatically stays afloat.

Erm, and what are you sales and income tax? No thanks. I work for my money, its MINE. If I want health insurance I get a new job or pay for it out of pocket. I cant afford it but I don't want the government stepping in and taking control of an OTHER private industry. As it is the local government has managed to destroy public transportation, we don't need that with health care. I have arthritis (BTW Sachi, idk if its rhumbatiod or not, i hope not myself.) I'm hypoglycemic, colour blind and have REALLY screwed up eyes, I don't need the government to support me, i can stand on my own to feet. seeing my eye doc is $90, glasses are $500, pills... well i don't get them anymore because I can't afford them but I'd much rather be independently miserable the dependently happy.


Next they'll want to tell me what colour shoes I can wear... I LIKE my black and white wing tip doc martins damn it, even if they are in 4 pieces.

You are a good example how the hard up in America have been brain washed. Nothing wrong in the system even if they can’t get medicines.

Our sales tax is 22% and income tax is anything from 0-58% depending on the income. So pretty heavy (and I don’t even want to mention the gas price since you are sick already).

But then everybody gets health care, dental, mental and education, unemployment benefits and pension. Which system is better? I think ours because everybody is taken care of. So what if guys like Bill Gates would pay top rate 58% income tax? They've got plenty left. But what is that thing with Doc Martins? You think we can’t buy shoes we want? Of course we can, as long as they are Red October model 1971 (black)
