Ironically, he and I had just ridden on the very same road the day before.

Caleb took his MSF course in 2001 (I believe), and his first bike was a Monster 720 (I think).

6-7 years of riding, a road you both apparently are pretty familiar with, and suddenly your guy forgets how to ride? I dunno...

So all this begs the question: Are there for hire proffesional accident investigators?

Why their heads on a pike of course. If I thought it would do any good.

Yes there are, but I have no idea how to contact such a person, and it may be a bit too-late if the local Constabulary didn't document and preserve any/all evidence they could.

Being neither a Lawyer nor an Investigator, I could not tell you one way or another.

I am very sorry for the loss of your Husband, Ericka.

I understand some small part of your Horror, having witnessed my Wife crash in 2001. Quite a helpless feeling.

I wish only that his crash had turned-out more like my Wife's, in that he had survived it.

Thanks, AirHawk, and everyone else. I believe it is far too late to get an accident investigator out there. I've been out to the site several times now and a lot of the evidence has faded, as it will over time. But maybe the cops did a bang up job on preserving evidence and taking pictures. Who knows? I'll find out soon enough.

Thank you for your sympathy and understanding. It is a helpless feeling. I am glad your wife made it. I know my husband's time was up and there is nothing I could have done to change that. Fate just stepped in. And so it is...

Thank you all again for your input.

Namaste,
Ericka
