Too bad Triumph can't shave 100 pounds off a Bonneville. I'd bet they'd sell a whole shytpot full.

Yep, 479 lbs is a little much for a bike with 65 horses hauling it around. The original weighed 365 lbs and put out around 50 hp. Triumph take a giant step sideways...

1600 cc parallel twin whooa. Wonder if the pistons move together? You probably have to duct-tape your boots on your legs when you ride this baby.

Just read in Rider magazine that all Bonnevilles will get FI disguised as carbs in 2009. Not sure if that extends to the other Bonnie based models.

I think all Triumphs are going to FI. One of my friends is a Triumph dealer and posted about it (elsewhere) a while ago.
