Too bad Triumph can't shave 100 pounds off a Bonneville. I'd bet they'd sell a whole shytpot full.

Yep, 479 lbs is a little much for a bike with 65 horses hauling it around. The original weighed 365 lbs and put out around 50 hp. Triumph take a giant step sideways... |

Just read in Rider magazine that all Bonnevilles will get FI disguised as carbs in 2009. Not sure if that extends to the other Bonnie based models.

I think all Triumphs are going to FI. One of my friends is a Triumph dealer and posted about it (elsewhere) a while ago.
