Exactly. When it's time for another bike, it doesn't matter if the one you have is gold plated, can fly, or has a frame filled with cocaine and cash. I think there is some hormone they put in the chicken that causes the buying frenzy to strike every X number of years. Once the frenzy starts, there is no stopping it. You won't sleep till you buy a new car, bike, boat, TeeVee, whatever. And BTW, as a Retired Professional Harley Saleshole, I'll say this: The Road Glide is without doubt the coolest bike they've got down there, and the only one I'd seriously consider buying. But wait, weren't you babbling about a VStrom? Or was that Zawa...I forget...

If you want a good LD Harley, just get a 1200 Sportster and trick it up a bit. Don't forget that the guy who placed third last year in the Iron Butt Rally was on a Sportster.

If you want a smaller bike, Sporters are terrific. But when I ride one now they seem tiny.
