Love the highway pegs! Are they stock on the Touring model?

"The Rocket III Touring has more than enough motor, in other words, even if your girlfriend is a horse."
"What's the matter, honey?" "Nothing" "Then, why the long face?" I've seen this bike at a MD dealership. Nice machine. I would've kept the twin headlamps, and it really needs more fuel capacity. Criminy! It'll be gassing up almost as often as the Sportsters! |
Looking at the outward curve in the rider's back, all I could think was that it needs a backrest if it's going to be any good for more than 100 miles a day.

Didn't look too comfortable to me either.....I guess with a less than 150 mile range it's probably not a problem |
That's a point. I guess this thing isn't much of a "tourer" after all.

"We tour to see things not to meet some arbitrary mileage goal."
Only because you haven't mastered route planning and time management! |
Au contraire.

"Where should we go this year?" "I dunno." "How about Monument Valley and Four Corners." "Okay." "I guess we could leave Friday and find a motel in Bluff." "Sounds good. What about Saturday?" "We'll check out the maps and decide then." "Okay." See. LR? Route planning and time management. We just do it on a day by day basis. PS: It's more fun that way. |
