Just wanted to comment on the article regarding the review of the 1946 Indian. I know it's old, but there is probably not one bit of fact in the review. You do not start it in gear; there is no secret ritual for starting and although I can't attest to the sound of the bike you rode, my 1946 Indian sounds very beefy, much like a Shovel. Did you guys actually ride the bike or did yo umake it all up? Very irresponsible reporting.
