My main question, though, is how do you have a convention of people to whom 50 miles is a very long day? That photo shows about 100 riders. Must be the number of people who own R1/R6s within 100 miles of the Dragon.

And how do you pry them out of the Burger Barn?

Maybe they need some special sportbiker contests: How many hp stats can they remember? Hand them a wrench, filter and oil can and see if they know what to do with them. How many bike mags can be stuffed in a tank bag? Most popcorny exhaust. Most invisible tail section lighting. Best flipflop/t-shirt ensemble.

Thanks for the great write-up Tom. We had a blast and yeah,,, Stu's mom's sweet potato pie is the bestest ever! You and Snapz took some really nice pics of us photo-whorin' it up.

I'm on several different motorcycle forums and the R1-Forum is the best. Not to leave out the R6-Forum mind you.

Kinda funny, ya think R1 and R6 and the first thing that comes to your mind is "SQUID ALERT". Well, it just ain't so. Not all the time anyway. This is a really great buncha guys and gals. We're family.

Again, thanks for the wonderful write-up man. And oh, BTW, I'm the short fat grey-beard in the article standing there with my buddy Peg Grinder showing off our tickets.

Anyway, not to allow that to detract from my reason for posting here.

Thanks Tom, it was great of you to come out. Sorry we had so many things going on at the same time that you were only able to see a few. Maybe next year we can get you out on some of the other runs and activities. I'll probably bring more than one bike again, so if you need something to ride, let me know.
