Slaped it all together and dam* that looked cool! rode it around for awhile and decided to grease the pivot points on the rockers, so I did......... All went well, actually got some suspension movement out of it and I'm happy as hell till I hit some expansion joints on I-5 in Seattle doin' about 80...Well first it started suspending...then it started bouncing..then it started popping little wheelies with me hangin' on the Z bars and the ol' lady hangin' on to me for dear life, that was before I got the sissy bar you see and all she had was the skinny ass back end of a cobra seat and not much of that! Well, I finally got it settled down, that's when I figured out why stock springers had the little shock absorber in front of the springs..I found one at Northwest Custom Cycle in Issaquah, paid out the nose for it and solved the problem somewhat though the combination of springer and skinny 21 in. no brake front end was still pretty iffy......I finally sold it and got an 8 over narrow glide and a 19 in. wheel with a disc brake so I could actually stop from time to time.

Weird story. I mean like what kind of a chopper rider cares about tire/road adhesion and stopping ability? It's the look that's important man! Please tell me you had a hardtail.
