These guys are still around. I did a trackday out at PIR on the 3rd, and Michael Cyzsz was running around on a desmo RR. People were talking about his test bike exploding on the track a month or so back and losing some oil, but that was just chit chat. I think they're still trying to get deposits on the first 50 produced. Apparently the bike was featured in a recent Cycle World, but I stopped subscribing to that years ago. Apparently the bike has turned some fantastic times on west coast tracks, but that may all be PR BS.

While I actually DO want him to succeed, I don't believe that he will. His stuff is like innovative and all (or so everybody keeps saying), but it's just too damn complex. With complexity comes delicacy. Push delicate things hard, they break.

Racers already break the tried-and-true solid-as-a-stone engines, chassis, and suspension parts they're using RIGHT NOW - what makes his stuff so damn immune? Simple: It's Not.
