"The "first" thing may be annoying, but it pales in comparison to degrading a motorcycle discussion into why someone thinks global warming is BS."

Isn't it? Global warming uses flawed "models" to project a scientific theory. Why don't the "warmers" have real statistical data- the non- "warmers" or "unbelievers" have data that counter.

Back to the bikes: It's clear that the Honda is a better overall value in the bang for the buck equation. Now put the CBR head to head with the standard 1098 and see what happens. I like the 1098, but I'd bet the CBR comes out the winner.

Kevin- for shyts and giggles why don't you call Larry Pegram and Erion Racing and get a Infenion test of their FX bikes. Get Larry and Jake to do the pro thing and then take a couple of guys from the office and trade off the bikes and get your impressions. Bet you'd have fun. You have 9 days to pull this together- you can do it. They'll be testing after the races so you could probably squeeze that in.

You guys can agree all you want, but that 'First' crap has seen its last day here. A free exchange of ideas, even if you don't agree with what is said, is different from the 'First' nonsense, and ideas and discussion, and yes, even arguments about all types of things are what the site is all about. What it isn't about is a contest to see who can post 'First' the fastest. It was funny for about 2 1/2 seconds here, and now it is just childish. I don't think it's all that tough on people not to do it. If any of you can't see the difference between an off-topic discussion and a juvenile spam post, then I can't really help you out.

LR- we get the point. Please feel free to help yourself to the decaf. Yoga, self-medication or a nap may help.

Sorry if I possibly annoyed you. I certainly would never want to do that.

How could I possibly be annoyed by you? Neal Boortz, Savage Nation, Randi Rhodes, CNN, my crazy recluse neighbors are annoying. You, however, can be ignored or overlooked if you become annoying. Alas, you are simply a pimple on the butt cheek of life. Not annoying- just uncomfortable on occassion.

Crack a smile and know that you are understood and enjoyed by most.

I'm cool with it man. Sometimes I need a kick in the ass to keep me straight! By the way I liked Randi Rhodes!

But style is subjective and I'm not the typical buyer for those bikes, so I do my best to ignore them (and their riders).
What are the odds? I like naked girls. Ok, not all of them, but a lot of them.

And the billions of tons of CO2 that are being released daily by fossil fuel combustion couldn't possibly effect the climate. What were those stupid scientists thinking????

Ken-
Call the office- 1
No doubt all the SUVs traveling throught the 14th century were the cause of that warming period, too? Face it, we all need to be better stewards of this planet but when looking at statistical data over the last century there has only been an increase of 1 degree in average temp readings during that time. I'm not saying we shouldn't make an effort in cleaning our air, but the Earth's atmosphere is resilient and obsorbs the CO2 like the seas obsorb the oil that seeps from the ocean floors.- 2
