Marty is the boyfreind of my mom's bust buddy Philipa, and when I first got my City X I rode it over to Mom's house to show it to her. Marty & Philipa where there, and I didn't know who Marty was at the time. He seemed unimpressed with the mighty City-X, and scoffed at the "Vincent like" rear suspension. Rat on Marty. (He also taught a motorcycle mechanics school in Hollywood and did some neat slides on an XS650 in the parking lot for the faculty's approval).
