Another NAZI first was national smoking bans. All for the public good of course. It's fascinating to study the rise of totalitarian systems conceived in the 1800s and still carried on through today. The idea of total central govt control is so ingrained now that today people in general think they are 'free' but enthusiastically welcome govt intrusion into every aspect of life. Orwell had it right.

It would seem that a larger bike does have more potential for problems than a smaller bike. Braking distances increase (given equal brakes), acceleration might not increase but inertia certainly does, handling generally declines with weight. Ideally a rider's skill increases proportionately, or bigger bikes are simply ridden differently than smaller ones. Jumping from a 600cc sport bike to a tourer certainly demonstrates this.
