Ok, if the photo is of Chicago Heights (and I'm about 95% certain it is) that house at the T-intersection used to be where my buddy lived 10 years ago in high school. I hung out there all the time. Small, strange world.

I'm sold on Goretex riding gear myself. Leather looks cool with better abrasion resistance and all, but a good Goretex suit is to me more comfortable to wear. They have a wider temperature range and for the most part are waterproof. Since most of the year there's a 20~30% chance of rain on any given day around here they just make more sense. The only down side is they get muggy when you're at a standstill on hot days so some areas they may not be the best but for here they work.
That FXRG line is actually supposed to be rated pretty highly from the leather gear to the textile stuff, I know a few guys who have the leather coats and they swear by them.

Hmmm. If Loud Pipes Save Lives, why wear low-viz gear? Harley jackets should be neon green or yellow. Or patterned like one of Herb Tarlek's blazers. It's all about being conspicuous for safety, right?
