Some years are better than others, but I have yet to have a bad time attending the Daytona 200. This year looks to be very exciting, and with BMW showing up to race, all the better! Does anybody know if Buell is bringing the new 1150?

The Buell water-cooled bike doesn't fit the FX format and the Superbike rules haven't been changed to 1200cc for V-Twins. The BMW racing in FX is great! Endurance is what the 200 is all about and if the BMW can qualify in the top 20 it should have a legit shot at a podium. I'm hoping the San Jose BMW guys take a Moto-ST bike (modified for the class, of course) because they seem to be the best organized team piloting the bikes for BMW right now. Should be very interesting.

My appologies: I was under the impression that the rules shift did not take effect until 2009. Maybe, it was a case of following Ducati news with the announcement of them NOT being ready to supply a Corse bike for AMA. My Bad.
