All that high tech, excellent handling and function. It is a pity the damn thing is just plain butt ugly.
Mellow the power delivery just a tad, put that motor in a sharply styled half faired bike with a real handlebar and the same quality frame and suspension, ditch the suitcase exhaust for a normal pipe and call me in the morning. Until then, I will happily keep riding my new FZ-1, which to my eye is a very nice looking ride after ditching it's OEM Star Trek inspired exhaust for some Akra titanium goodness. |

A step up from the last few years, although I'm not sure how i feel about the actual look of it. I guess looks dont so much matter when it comes to performance but I need time to adjust to the fairings on it. At least they did away with the tacky Flames that were on last years models! I have a 2002 F4i and was looking at the 2005 600RR but havent found a good enough reason to selll the F4i yet. I do love it but am thinking of upgrading to a 1000 cc soon.

A bigger motor isn't an "upgrade," son. I know a fair number of people who have realized that a smaller engine can make for a better bike.
No reason you shouldn't get a 1000 if that's what you want, but let's not suggest it's anything more than choosing something different.

I have this from august 2008 and it consumes 1000ml/1000km. Check this website for details because I am not the only one:
