The gang over at Stromtroopers swear by DuPont Teflon loobe. Given that they do bizzre things like intentionally ride their bikes off the pavement (as opposed to careening through the neighbor's yard), I suspect their chains take more abuse than the average. Here's a thread link on the topic:

I guess I should also point-out: the OEM #530 O-ring chain on my FZ6 got lubed exactly TWICE in the 28k miles it was on the bike............
