![]() I wasn't an idiot buying one then (debatable, I agree). But the competition has moved on. I certainly would be a complete idiot if I overlooked 42% torque advantage today.
About the riding stories what are you talking about? How about the blah blah explanations how I dropped HD six times in BRZ and ARG? Now its winter and roads are icy. I am scooting through the snow with a Honda XL 125 with steel studs on the tires. I bought it in Finland but how 'bout this: its assembled in Brazil, just like my Harley. Creepy. - cruiz-euro |

So, you can't get those Shania Twain videos either, eh?
Well, that's probably a good thing, you know. Because then you can get more work done, get a bonus and a big promotion! Life is beautiful!

70 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, a brand new DL 1000 waiting in the parking lot for the commute home...kid's soccer game tonight. You're damn right it is!

Someday you too can have a corner office, big wooden desk and a tight little honey to get your coffee for you....

No, actually for the riding 99% of the cruiser riders to, it makes no difference how much torque you have to go the speed limit or slower. If you are the type that wants to go way faster than that, then buy a Hayabusa and triple the limit in the blink of an eye, and save money to boot. It will handle better, stop better, and go faster than any cruiser that was, or ever will be, made. Don't give me any of that "I'm a cruiser guy" bullshyt either. If you are truly that, then torque, horsepower, and one-finger braking shouldn't make one bit of difference on an 800 lb barge. It's like lipstick on a pig.

I check these 3 areas every morning, and usually at night, that way the listings don't build up too much. The Reno area doesn't generate many listings, but some serious deals come thru there once in awhile. It's desert over there, other side of the mountains, so prices are pretty good. The Sacramento area has lots of good deals, medium high number of listings, and the SFBayArea, which is basically the Silicon Valley area generates an astounding amount of listings and good deals. The deals aren't just limited to Harleys, some really good deals on other brands too. Here you go: sacramento motorcycles/scooters classifieds - craigslist san francisco bay area motorcycles/scooters classifieds - craigslist reno / tahoe motorcycles/scooters classifieds - craigslist |
