Eh I cruse around at 8k normally, that's on a bike that redlines at 12k If I had a bike that redlined at 16k I guess I would cruse around at 10k

Why wouldn't it be relaxing?

Well, yeah, ride my Dyna at around at 7 or 8k most of the time. That's where it's most nimble..............

Depends on the bike. When I ride my CB-1 on the freeway, in sixth gear it does 8k rpm at 70 mph. It just whirs away, perfectly contented. So . . .

So..........you can't get it to turn any slower. Do you ride it at 35 at 8 grand too?

I sure don't. At 35 it's pretty comfortable at about 5500 rpm.

It is a sweet little bike. Rip it at 13k and it just sings! I like it as much as I like my 599. And with the new Pilot Powers, it turns like a dream.

I am serious. Could you try to explain a little bit though? I really want to know what turns people away from high revs.

I would if I could, sadly 35 is about redline in 1st and about 7k in 2nd. They're widely spaced gears.
