I have a 'stich and I stuff my gauntlets under my suit and secure the velcro wrist strap of my sleeve around the gauntlets. No runs, drips or errors. Used to put my gauntlets over my sleeves but it would slowly fill up full of drips. With the wrist straps secure I get no rain blowing up my arms and about a 3 to 4 inch overlap of the sleeve and the gauntlet. Now I just need to buy a 2 piece stich to eliminate aerostich crotch...

Another nice thing with a 2 peice is you don't get "Trapped Fart Syndrome" .....nothing worse than forgetting you let go a nice mud splattering Hippo fart until half an our later when you unzip your coveralls and get a snoot full...

It's a safety issue.....

Hmm... I've been thinking about getting an aerostitch one piece -- I'm guessing I should pass? I don't know wtf "aerostitch crotch" is but I don't think it's for me.

The one piece Roadcrafter is notorius for leaking in the crotch. I've commuted in many many fierce storms (80mph gusts and sheets of rain) and under an hour I stay dry, if a little clammy. But the one time I was stuck doing 150 miles in medium constant soaking rain I ended up with wet midregion, not just a damp crotch. For commuting the 1 piece cant be beat for comfort and easy access. For extended rides in the rain, then the two piece is the way to go. Your Mileage may vary...

I ride in the seattle area as well, and I use cortech racing gloves (great armour, great fit) and just let my hands get wet. If it's really really raining or the ride is long then I wear surgical gloves underneath; I keep a package and under my seat. You look like a real stud when you get to the store, remove your racing gloves and then remove the baby blue latex gloves. At least nobody talks to you then.
