The Communist News Network ran a quick segment this morning on the report and showed the obligatory crash scenes with sportbikes. The talking head was all concerned for our safety.

ST1300's are sport bikes? And standards have low power to weight ratios? Holy crap I'm surprised I'm not surprised at the IIHS.

That's why I was having so much trouble, neither my age nor my bikes corresponded with any of the official classifications. I wasn't until Longride pointed out that I'm a legend in my own mind, Outstanding in my field that I saw the light......

Evidently my Concours is considered a sport bike now. Hope my insurance doesn't go up.

Yay! Not only are we killing ourselves faster than lemmings running off a cliff, but now we're attacking innocent civilians!

My motorcycle skids once in awhile, I haven't managed to start a fiery crash yet though. If I could I'd have started one this morning when I once again ran up to and around my nemisis....the Self Appointed Puget Sound Left Lane Speed Monitor... At least this pinhead didn't try to run me off the road when I passed him, still if not a fiery death then a roasted Ranger is minimal for this kind of sh*t

The crash, which involved a tractor-trailer, occurred around 12:45 p.m. and halted both north- and south-bound traffic in that area for more than an hour. The crash occurred when a motorcyclist skidded about a mile north of the Martin County line in the southbound lanes and caused a chain reaction, Frith said.

Frith said the semi-rig caught on fire and the crash involved multiple vehicles. The crash was cleared with three minor injuries, he said.

He said where did the "reporter" that wrote this piece go to grammar-school, he said...............
