96 Honda Magna electrical problem . . .

Got a 96 Honda Magna . . .

The headlight won't come on when key is turned on . . . and bike won't start.

We can push start it or jump it with a screwdriver across the starter circuit.

Bike will run that way, but still no headlight!

We think it is the start switch. but not sure . . .

Any ideas
