Good grief. Thanks for making this easy "K". I'll read the article anyway, just for fun. 26 to 30

Wow! I have never read a review so positive. I'm really eager to read the other website's opinion.
In the past, Kawasaki has not been as reliable as Honda. Will all those electronic gizmos keep working after 40k or 50k? I have my doubts. This bike is sooo light compared to other touring bikes. It would be FAR more agile than a Goldwing, and probably more nimble than an st1300. So while I am a bit skeptical, it sounds like a great bike overall. |

I'm a wuss, I'll admit that, but I couldn't stand the heat the ST1300 generates, so I pitched it. I'd be foolish to buy the new Kawi!

Fobs fobs geez I really dislike these electric gizmos. Very unreliable under varied conditions, such as when the prostitutes throw you in the pool third time. Your azz is in Lithuania and you should be at work Monday morning. Nicht gut.

A new Connie? A new KLR? I think Kawasaki is taking niche marketing to a new degree here, and deliberately targeting MO subscribers, who are known fans of both. Has MO been selling its subscriber list? We should be told...

I'm getting 41 mpg and have mostly solved the heat issue by closing off some of the open spaces in the lower fairing with pipe insulation. Still getting some heat, but its just a minor nuisance.
Excellent and accurate writeup. Short legged people might find the bike too tall. 1100 fun miles so far. I love this bike. |

I've been watching the Tour de France and I've been looking at the connie escort the riders along the course... looks nice, manageable at slow speeds - but I bet the rider wishes he could just open it up for 20s while going down those mountain sides!
