I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam, and most cruiser/touring rig ergos result in my knees being 3-4" higher that my butt (or the tank). That makes me look like a clown on a circus bicycle. Perhaps this will be the first one to fit me. For what it's worth, the HD Wide Glide with extra forward controls fits me pretty nicely.

I would deny it too.

Sometimes my humor works, most times it doesn't...

I saw the Spyder at the local Powersports dealer when it was in for demo rides. Didn't get to ride it, but sat on it and gave it a good look. I think it looks VERY COOL. It has an industrial, edgy kind of styling that worked. And everybody who rode one raved about it. It is BRP's stated purpose to go out and create a new market segment with this...whatever it is, and they have a very good chance of doing just that. Riders will get the majority of the fun of riding a bike with a much lower level of skill and some, although a debatable level, of risk reduction. The dealer told me they had sold their entire allotment with UNREFUNDABLE $1000 deposits in hand...they apparently won't ship till the Fall.

Longride, your logic lets you down again. I would never buy a bagger. Which should be obvious even to you since I have signed all my postings "cruiz-euro" for donkey's years.

And your mouth lets you down again. I doubt Victory cares if you like what they make if you don't buy it. Putting your money where your mouth is counts here. This thing is an ugly turd, and I'm afraid you liking it isn't going to change that one bit.

I was tempted to copy this article into Word and doing a proper critique, but the quality of the thing made for a daunting task. Instead of going on about the poor writing and negligent editing of this piece, I'll simply refer others to the well written article at Motorcycle Daily. The contrast is quite telling.
