Thank you so much for writing this. Not only was it an ecellent review, but it answered every question that I had. I'm going in 2 hours to look at a 2001 F4 750 1+1, and needed some reassurance that I wasn't about to waste a lot of money. The bike is gorgeous, but would I be happy with more than looking at it was my concern, and you calmed my fears.

I'd be wary of using an eight-year old article for a reference. We have a couple of folks on this site that have experience with the M/V's.

And, apparently MO's Rip Van Winkle just woke up again.

The 750 F4 was a mechanical pain in the ass. I love the bikes. Sold and financed the bikes, actually. But to get parts and maintain the bike is going to be a hassle.
A good used 910 Brutale is probably a better choice than the 750 F4 motor.
Just a friendly heads up.
