Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800 I OWN A 2004 VOLUSIA I BOUGHT IT IN 06. I ONE YEAR I PUT OVER 30,000 MILES ON IT. I NEVER DONE A SERVICE IN A SHOP I JUST CHANGE OIL AND FILTER, SPARK PLUGS AND FILTER. THIS BIKE IS MORE THAN GOOD LOOKS AND COMFORT. IT IS DEPENDABLE AND I BELIEVE I HAVE MANY MILES TO GO. IN FACT OTHERS THAT I KNOW THAT WANT TO BUY THEY BUY THE SAME AS I. |

I also have a Suzuki Volusia and love it. I usually have oil changed in shop, but need to do it myself. Any tricks? Is it just pull plug, drain, replace filter, re-fill above the fill sight or is there another oil fill location.

It makes discussing their models somewhat of a challenge.
