Could we set the clock to some US time please
You can go in your settings area and change your time zone. I chose "under the sea" but it still keeps putting me on Pacific Time.

Generally, I like it and it was needed in many respects. However, even before the change happened, I kind of hated the idea of changing the forum set-up; it was obvious what the general format was going to be (the prevailing one across the web). It does scatter everyone all over the place and robs the site of some of its unique, eh, charm.

Of course, this might be a good thing for the public at large, but not so good for our little club here.

Like others, I'll wait and see how things develop (and I adapt).

A bit "scrambled" looking and sorta hard on the eyes compared to the old MO and other cycle boards. Why can't I edit/modify my own posts???

Default The easy way to see what is going on

To save time hit the "New Posts" link above to see where the current hot spots are. To clear the "New Posts" click on "Mark Forums Read". You're correct with large amounts of "data" you have to filter or quit your job and just sit in front of the Mo screen 24/7.

Thumbs up New MO and new forum

I am giving the new MO a "thumbs up". Looks good and once you figure out that "User CP" means "User Control Panel", you can make the necessary settings tweaks and the forum is easier to navigate. You can even set the default time to something approximating your own timezone!

i.e take away his privileges than unconsciously allow dysfunctional behavior to be allowed or rewarded..

This just sent my very sensitive irony-detection equipment up in smoke.
