That is EXACTLY what I think ... CycleWorld home page used to look like a flea market compared to the old MO, but now it's a relief and also where I spend most of my moto-surfing time.
Definitely just gonna let my subscription lapse here.

Default MotorcycleUSA.com

I've always thought MotorcycleUSA.com was the best motorcycle website out there with MO a close second. Now MO isn't even on the radar.

Great site. I liked the old one too but any change is an improvment.

I hate the fact that you can't get a "nested" view of a thread like the MO 1.0 site. This new version is slick but less functional.

Cool Just too much...

Can a website be all things to all people..? Relax, that was rhetorical.

It seems this one is tilting at that enigmatic windmill. It's just too busy, too convoluted, and too distracting. I can no longer assess the current moods of the moto-world at a glance, and peruse a thread that snags my interest with insight or wit. It has become flash at the sacrifice of substance; the Walden Pond of cyber-cycledom has morphed into the two-wheeled virtual Vegas Strip...

Oh, I'm certain the transition will appeal to some, perhaps many... It takes all kinds.

What's next, neon ads..?

That was an excellent analogy .. I totally agree..I guess initially I was thinking oh great now they can concentrate on more content to go with the slick new format. After the newness wore off I starting to look more critically at things. Now, I think you captured and summarized it very eloquently for many us. Sometimes simple is good, sometimes it's the best and content is always going to king..

Now more than 2 to 1 against. The gap between "I like it" and "I hate it" just keeps getting bigger. So much for people just "getting used to it."

I'm still ambivalent. I think it was overdue for a refresh but the forums could have been better handled imo.
